Pre-Uni New College Mini Test Practice Sets for Thinking Skills and Mathematical Reasoning

Pre-Uni New College is excited to announce the availability of practice sets for the Thinking Skills (TS) and Mathematical Reasoning (MR) tests. These mini tests are designed to help you familiarize yourself with the test format and improve your time management skills. The practice sets are divided as follows:

  • Thinking Skills (TS): 8 sets of 10 questions.
  • Mathematical Reasoning (MR): 10 sets, each with 7 questions.

These practice sets aim to provide students with the opportunity to experience the same question types and test conditions they will encounter in the actual exams. We encourage all students to use these resources to enhance their exam preparation.

To make the most of these practice sets, we recommend the following approach:

  • Set a timer for each practice set to simulate the actual test environment. For TS, allocate 9 minutes per 10-question set; for MR, allocate 7 minutes per 7-question set.
  • Review the provided strategies and tips for both TS and MR exams to ensure effective time management during practice.
  • After completing each practice set, review your answers and identify areas that require further improvement.
  • Practice regularly to build confidence and improve your performance.
  • Using these practice sets, students can better understand the TS and MR test formats and improve their time management skills. We believe that consistent practice is the key to success, and we hope that these resources will prove helpful for students as they prepare for their exams.
