It's time to start proper Selective High Schools Placement Test!

Pre-Uni New College's STTC is shown to be a significant factor in ensuring success in the Selective High Schools Placement Test. The course is unique in that it allows students to practise exam style questions under exam conditions.

Starting from Term 2, students will take 2-3 tests per session (Maths & G.A./ Reading, Writing & Vocabulary) and teachers will go over every question during review sessions, with focus on difficult questions. Students will be expected to ask questions when they are struggling to understand them in class.

Cyberschool will also allow students to review the 10 most difficult questions from Maths and G.A. which will be chosen from students' individual results.

STTC helps students to...

  1. Increase accuracy and minimise errors
  2. Acquire time management skills - especially in G.A. which only allows around 40 seconds per question
  3. Familiarise themselves with unique question types and test structures for steady improvement
  4. Analyse their weak areas through feedback given by weekly reports
  5. Estimate their performance in the actual test to better the chances of them getting into Selective Schools.
